再次有人拿此图说事：一点不能少，一片可不要。看似讽刺，实则无知！
据蒋经国的回忆录《蒋经国自述》记载，
我记得非常清楚，当时斯大林拿一张纸向宋子文面前一掷，态度傲慢，说：“你看过这个东西没有？”宋院长一看，知道是《雅尔塔协定》，回答说：“我只知道大概的内容。”斯大林又强调说：“你谈问题，是可以的，但只能拿这个东西做根据，这是罗斯福签过字的。”
蒋经国恳求：“你应当谅解，我们中国几年抗战，就是为了要把失土收复回来。今天日本还没赶走，东北、台湾还没有收回，一切失地，都在敌人手中，反而把这样大的一块土地割让出去，岂不失却了抗战的本意？我们的国民一定不会原谅我们，会说我们‘出卖了国土’。在这样情形之下，国民一定会起来反对政府。”我说完了之后，斯大林就接着说：“你这段话很有道理，我不是不知道。不过，你要晓得，今天并不是我要你来帮忙，而是你要我来帮忙。倘使你本国有力量，自己可以打日本，我自然不会提出要求。今天，你没有这个力量，还要讲这些话，就等于废话！”
希望每个国人能记住这段话，这就是现实。当你自己没实力的时候，你怎么想怎么说，不过人微言轻。国民政府最终签订了《中苏友好同盟条约》。允诺外蒙古在战后进行公民投票以决定其前途。最后在苏联监视下，公民投票结果为100%赞成独立。
根据苏联解密档案，毛在1949年1月即将接管中国政权时，曾经通过来访的苏共政*治*局委员米高扬向苏联提出要求，希望外蒙古与内蒙古合并回归中国，成为革命后新中国领土的一部分。但被斯大林严词拒绝，并指出如果内外蒙古合并，也是合并后一起独立。由于苏联是中共建政的最主要援助者，至此，毛只能作罢，断了最后一丝念想。
总之，
（1）割让外蒙乃老蒋所为，与老毛无关。
（2）老蒋也是不得已而为之。
（3）今非昔比，当然寸土不让！
1986年尼加拉瓜在海牙国际法庭起诉美国，美国败诉，事后美国官员当着记者面撕掉判决书。
所以，国际法庭只对弱者有用，对强者只能是废纸。
